I guess I'm not done with blogs. I can feed this blog into my author page on Amazon.com, which makes this somewhat more useful than I had previously thought. Here is the link:

To anyone reading this outside of my author page, here are the links to my novels:

I hate doctors. It is rather atavistic of me, but it's true. So I put off seeing a doctor about "the-flu-that-wouldn't-die" until yesterday. Wouldn't you know it, I had a classic panic attack in the doctor's office, freaking her out with an incredibly high blood pressure and a heart rate through the roof. Funny thing, less than an hour after I left the doctor's office, my BP had dropped thirty points, though my heart rate's only now settling down.
I REALLY hate doctors. From my childhood illnesses through my late parents' tribulations with doctors, tests, and misdiagnoses, my experience of them has been overwhelmingly negative. My heart rate is back to its normal resting rate of 72. It was over 90, topping 99 during the afternoon yesterday. My BP hasn't completely settled, it's still a little high, but I'm on antibiotics, I'm sick as a dog, my throat and my head ache, so I won't be able to tell if I'm mildly hypertensive or not for the next week or so.
God, I hate doctors.

Tired with Wired. Heh, I'm a poet, who knew? Back to Wired, man am I sick of their web site. It's been building for months and this last bit, with the sensationalistic publication of more "We doomed in 2012!" stories has broken my back. So no more.
My irritation with Daily Kos is a little less extreme. The founder, Kos (Markos Moulitsas), seems not to want to take no for an answer. When he proposed Republican-style fun-and-games with the primaries, most of the members said, "No way!" But he continues to harp on it to no end, despite that his "Operation Hilarity" failed in Michigan. Rather than go down in infamy with a hate-filled rant, I'll just stay away from the site for a couple months. There's enough aggravation in the world without needlessly creating more for myself.
March is the BIG MONTH for me. The first of my published works will gain new life as Kindle ebooks on Amazon. I hope to have fourteen short stories and a short novel up by April.

Just checking through Amazon's list of free movies on their Prime membership. Oldies. And the latest movies, still gotta pay through the nose for them. Given the movie industry's backing of the draconian SOPA bill, their utter 1%er attitude toward their tired and pathetic products, I'm soon expecting new rules on movie viewing from them. "Send us the severed head of your favorite pet, then, maybe, we'll let you watch a movie."
Ever read a book? Ever play a video game? I highly recommend both activities.

Can't discuss conspiracy theories, can't look like a tin-foil hat type. Dig this:
Financial records from 1985 and 2001 show that Rockwell, Paul's congressional chief of staff from 1978 to 1982, was a vice president of Ron Paul & Associates, the corporation that published the Ron Paul Political Report and the Ron Paul Survival Report. The company was dissolved in 2001. During the period when the most incendiary items appeared—roughly 1989 to 1994—Rockwell and the prominent libertarian theorist Murray Rothbard championed an open strategy of exploiting racial and class resentment to build a coalition with populist "paleoconservatives," producing a flurry of articles and manifestos whose racially charged talking points and vocabulary mirrored the controversial Paul newsletters recently unearthed by The New Republic. Not to make too big a thing about this, because this is just nutty conspiracy talk, but if one were to take these things seriously, it would indicate an on-going plot against American democracy. When combined with the actions of 1%ers like the Koch brothers, a chill settles over the mind. But of course the mainstream media wouldn't touch this stuff with a ten-foot pole. Can't ever talk openly about conspiracies and be taken seriously.
